Home and Garden Television (one of my favorites!) shows you some beautiful — and easy! – Christmas crafts, including one by Share My Craft user Katie Watson for a special way to count down the 25 days of Christmas. “Each envelope has a coupon inside that is redeemable for something special (i.e., a family game night, a cup of hot chocolate, a piece of Christmas candy, Mom reading a book, etc.),” she says. It’s not only a fun family activity, but a creative piece of holiday decor, too.

Books, books, books, they are everywhere in my house. Yes, I have my Kindle, but it’s just not the same. The tactile nature of books, particularly a new one or perhaps a well-loved one, can never be duplicated.
So, OK, you have books you love to read. How about decorating with them?
“A Little Design Help” blog has some really cool ideas and tutorials.
For instance, a clock, shelves or even a light! To see these and other cool book ideas, click here: Books As Home Decor
